Following its debut run in London, SHAIR! UNDRGRND is gatecrashing HairCon Manchester to bring raw, unfiltered talent to the unplugged stage. This isn’t polished brand content—it’s hair under lights, under pressure, in front of real people.

This gig is perfect for rising talent and new-gen art teams. We’re all about banging the drum for people getting their chance to show what they can do—and SHAIR! UNDRGRND is built exactly for that.

HOW IT WORKS

The 10-Minute Performer Slot

The Prep:
20 minutes in the live main-room prep area—right among the crowd—to fine-tune your look before you hit the stage. No backstage hiding. This is part of the show.

Your Moment:
10 minutes on stage to create, transform, and reveal—live, unfiltered, and high energy.

No Chat During Performances—Just Energy:
Let the music and the crowd set the vibe. Save your words for the reveal.

Strict Countdown:
The timer is the gatekeeper. No overruns. It keeps the pace electric and the night tight.

Big Finish:
When the 10 minutes is up, it’s reveal time. Grab the mic and break down exactly what you did.

MC Support:
Our MCs will guide the questions to you—no awkward pauses, just smooth transitions.

Caption Cards: Bring Your Grid to the Stage

To keep that scroll-stopping energy alive without breaking the no-talk rule, we recommend using caption cards—handwritten messages for your model to hold up to the crowd while you perform (see pic below).

Think of it as your story, told silent-film style.

The Rules:

• • Heavy brand advertising? Not here. This isn’t a commercial break.
• • Promoting your social handle? Absolutely fine.
• • All caption cards must be approved before going on stage—we’re sharing messages, not spamming the room.
